I am just going to say, I traveled for a wedding, stayed three nights, bought a decent gift, and did not get a thank you from someone I thought was a good friend. I have worried that maybe my gift did not make it to their home or something for them to open, but I have no idea if there is a tactful way to ask, and it has been 2 years.
I have to admit, after I had my kiddo and received some gifts, it took me a few months to get some people thank you cards. I did do sentimental notes, making sure I was apologizing for my tardiness.
